Re: CSDA History?

Walter, Your question as to identity was intentionally ignored. I am analysing claims of the CSDA Church - an organisation with public teachings and a presence on the www. Identity is not important unless you are seeking to undermine clear objective evidence with ad hominem assertions. You can claim...

Re: No Sentencing while in the Most Holy Place.

I am not saying that there is no judgement going on at present. I am saying that there is no sentencing going on. At this time, the Advocate, the High Priest, is IN the Most Holy Place. While examining the books, regarding both individuals and organisations, the sentence is not being passed down unt...

The "Unchurched" fallacy.

The CSDA teaching that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is Babylon rests upon a specific web of quotations from Ellen White, A. T. Jones and a few verses from the Bible, linked in a specific way so as to teach that the Seventh-day Adventist Church "unchurched" themselves in 1980 with the t...

No Sentencing while in the Most Holy Place.

One of the key tenets of CSDA beliefs is that God has pronounced Judgement upon the SDA Church. One of the ways they illustrate this is that the SDA Church has been "weighed" and "found wanting", appealing to Ellen White in the context of Sanctuary/Judgement language. The problem...

This scholar goes on to share: http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/1079/pronunciation1.png http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/5683/pronunciation2.png As a whole, the whole practice of using "Sacred Names" in material meant to be of an outreach purpose, such as in most of the publically avai...

Re: CSDA History?

It is very interesting that within years of God's raising a prophetic movement out of 1844, God inspired Ellen White to preserve history of the early experiences for people to know truly how God had led. In fact, it was her very first book. There is very little in the way of history put forward for ...

Re: CSDA's use an invalid pronunciation for Christ's name

I have tried to post more to the study, but there are problems posting more than this. I have raised it in the technical section.

CSDA's use an invalid pronunciation for Christ's name

One of the CSDA teachings and practices which, while not a test, is peculiar to them, is the use of "Sacred Names". As the Wikipedia article states, the "use of the names יהוה (Yahweh) and יהושע (Yahshua) for the Father and Son of the Godhead in worship are generally practiced by memb...

CSDA History?

The CSDA Church was started along with other founders, such as Max Holleyman, Jr. This offshoot from the SDA Church seems to have had the same splintering as any other group which has separated from the organisation God started in 1844. The CSDA website does not have a very accurate portrayal of thi...
